Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. All image processing on this site happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images are never uploaded to any server, stored, or seen by anyone else. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tools still work.
What image formats are supported?
The compressor, resizer and converter support the three most common web formats: JPG, PNG and WebP. The converter can turn any of these into any other format.
Do I need to create an account or pay to use these tools?
No. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no payments. Every tool on this site is completely free and works directly in your browser.
Is it safe to compress or resize images on this site?
Yes. Because files are processed entirely on your device, there is nothing to steal or misuse. Your images never leave your computer, phone or tablet.
What is the best quality setting for compressing images?
For photos, a quality setting between 70% and 80% usually looks identical to the original while reducing file size dramatically. Start at 75% and lower it if you need an even smaller file.
What is the difference between JPG, PNG and WebP?
JPG is best for photos and offers small files with adjustable quality. PNG is lossless and ideal for graphics, logos and images with transparency. WebP combines both strengths: it is a modern format with excellent compression and supports transparency, and is supported by all major browsers.
Can I compress multiple images at once?
Yes. The image compressor accepts multiple files in a single batch. Select several images, set the quality once, and download each compressed result individually.
Do these tools work on mobile devices?
Yes. All tools work on any modern browser on desktop, tablet and mobile, as long as the browser supports the HTML5 Canvas API.
